Max Strom

Max Strom has experienced a profound life change through his practice of Hatha-Yoga. He is director of Sacred Movement, a center for Yoga and healing in Los Angeles, and author of the forthcoming book Get Out of the Way and Teach: A Handbook for Yoga Teachers.

Max's rigorous Vinyasa style integrates methods from several Hatha-Yoga systems and Qigong. Max Strom is known for inspiring and impacting the lives of his students, teaching with the aim of "opening the heart." He has studied in depth with many of the world's prominent teachers, including Dena Kingsberg, Gabriella Giubilaro (Iyengar), Sherry Brourman (Movement Therapy), and Master Hong Lu (Qi Gong).
