One weekend a month for six months (or nine months for those enrolling
also in the teacher training), we will come together to explore the
Yoga tradition. Through discussion, group practices, lectures, experiential
discovery sessions, private sessions, and home study, we will deepen
our understanding of the physical body, the energy body, and the mind.
The study of the history and philosophy of Yoga taught by Georg Feuerstein
will root us in this ancient wisdom.
Viniyoga is based on the teachings of Shri Krishnamacharya and T.K.V.
Desikachar of Chennai, India. In this ancient system the condition,
needs, and aspirations of each individual are recognized and respected.
The profound intelligence of the teachings of Viniyoga helps us to
deepen our self-awareness and personal transformation.
